Friendship Night is a general grief self-help
group for any adult grieving a loss. It is a small and
caring group that offers friendship and non-judgmental support. Light
refreshments and time for one on one sharing follow the group discussion.
Topics for the year rotate and include:

- February: Understanding Grief
- March: Meeting Your Grief Needs
- April: Anger and Hope
- May: Are There Stages of Grief?
- June: Dealing with Anger
- July: Helping Grieving Children
- August: Using Your Strengths and Weaknesses to Heal
- September: If I Start Crying, Will I Ever Stop?
- October: I'm Fine and Other Lies
- November: I'm Not Ready Yet...Facing the Holidays
- December: The Ghosts of Christmas Past
Friendship Night meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at 7pm at the Great
Lakes Leadership Campus, 526 Main Street (Route 47) in Elburn.
