The West Towns Human Services Network was created by Mental Health and Mental Retardation Services (commonly called 708, Inc.), a consortium of seven area 708 township mental health boards. Five local townships comprise the West Towns area: Big Rock, Blackberry, Kaneville, Sugar Grove and Virgil. Aurora and Batavia townships are also members of the consortium. Together the mental health boards in these townships review area mental health needs and fund a variety of human services for residents in western Kane County.
